A downloadable game

Barafia, once a beautiful island full of greenery has been cursed with eternal winter for nearly twenty years. Prophecies say a hero shall be born to end the curse. You are the hero and the people of Barafia have their hopes on you. Set off on a snow-filled adventure to find the cause and a way to lift the curse while collecting the crystal-like objects in your path.

Controls
  • Use Arrow keys/WASD keys for moving the character( The character teleports from one tile to another hence the movement is rigid)
  • Press Space bar to bring up the Pause menu from which you can save the game and view your inventory
Caution

Whenever you choose "New game" from the main menu , the old save file is deleted.

Install instructions

  • Extract the zip file and run game.exe within the "dist" folder. The game may take quite a while to load. 

  • Alternatively, move all the files in "Sourcecode" folder to the main("dist") folder and run game.py . With this method , the game loads considerably faster.
